One Clear Choice Garage Doors: Updates
Excellent blog post by Driven By Decor blogger, who recently had her home’s garage door replaced with a Clopay door. Here are Kris’s tips for making the right choice for a new garage door for your home:
Uncle Sam is offering you a tax incentive to improve your home’s energy efficiency and curb appeal.
If you purchased and installed an ENERGY STAR® qualified Clopay entry door in 2012 or plan to in 2013, you may be able to take advantage of a federal energy tax credit worth up to $500.
The credit equals 10% of the product cost with a lifetime maximum of $500.
For example, if an entry door costs $2,000, the tax credit would be worth $200. Labor and installation charges are not included.
To be eligible for the tax credit, entry doors must:
- Meet ENERGY STAR program requirements
